Fave Ltd Privacy Statement

Last updated 29 July 2026

Fave Ltd (‘Fave’, ‘we’, ‘our’ or ‘us’) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This privacy statement describes the types of information we may collect from you and our practices for collecting, using, storing, protecting and sharing that information.

Information we collect

We may collect personal information when you:

  • contact us through our website or by email

  • register or attend an in-person event, webinar or virtual event that we host on behalf of a client

  • take part in a survey or poll we run on behalf of a client

  • apply for a job with us.

This is usually your name, email address and any other details you choose to give us. For example, in a contact form, an event registration, a survey response or a job application.

A client may also give us your details directly. For example, a list of attendees for an event we’re delivering for them.

You can choose whether to give us personal information directly. Where a client gives us your details as part of a service they’ve asked us to deliver, we handle it the same way as described in this statement.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to your enquiries

  • deliver a product or service and support our clients

  • give you access to events, webinars, virtual events and surveys

  • report on attendance, engagement and survey results for the client a service is being delivered for

  • understand how our website is used, so we can improve it.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use our website. This collects information such as your IP address, the pages you visit and the device and browser you're using. This information doesn't identify you personally.

Google’s own privacy policy may allow them to use this information more broadly, including sharing it with their partners. We don’t control this.

Cookies

Our website uses small text files stored on your device called cookies to help understand how people use our site. Some cookies are placed by third parties acting on our behalf.

You can turn cookies off at any time. Most browsers let you block cookies, or will warn you before one is set. Turning cookies off won’t affect your ability to use our website or access the services that we provide.

Events, webinars and virtual events

We run events, webinars and virtual events on behalf of our clients.

We use registration or ticketing tools, or platforms like Eventbrite or Zoom Webinars, depending on the client and format. Other services we deliver for clients

Depending on the client, we may deliver other services including surveys and polls, sending newsletters and managing websites, social media or learning platforms.

We may share survey responses or newsletter engagement with the client the service is being delivered for to help them understand the results.

Our staff, partners and contractors are required to use appropriate security measures, including multi-factor authentication on systems we manage.

Photos and video at events

We take photos and record video at some events we run or support for a client, to share afterwards or use in reporting.

Where we can, we'll let you know this is happening. This may be through signage, live announcements or event information. If you’d rather not be photographed or recorded, let us know when you arrive or contact us afterwards if you'd like something removed.

Who we share information with

We don't sell personal information. We may share it with:

  • the client a service is being delivered for, as described above

  • service providers who help us run our website, services, events and communications – for example, web hosting, technology support, event and registration platforms and accounting, recruitment or payroll providers.

Some of these providers store or process information outside New Zealand. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is protected. We also protect any information a client gives us using our own security practices.

If our website links to other websites or apps, we’re not responsible for their privacy practices. We recommend you check their own policies.

Keeping your information secure

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and only keep it for as long as we need it for the reason it was collected.

Once we no longer need your information, we'll securely delete or destroy it – unless the law, or a court or tribunal, requires us to keep it for longer.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you and ask for corrections. You can also ask us to stop using your information, or raise any concerns you have.
